Attendance at the NATO Annual Awards Dinner will be by invitation only.
The National Association of Tobacco Outlets will host the NATO Annual Awards Dinner on the evening of Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. A social hour will be followed by the awards dinner and is an event that past attendees will say should not be missed. Invitations and RSVP forms will be mailed to all NATO members, other retailers planning to attend the trade show and exhibitors in mid-March. The evening will include the presentation of the annual NATO Pinnacle Awards honoring retail and manufacturer members who have demonstrated extraordinary support for NATO and involvement in tobacco legislative issues. The evening will also include the announcement of new NATO officers and an update on current tobacco legislative initiatives being conducted by NATO. Current NATO members and prospective retail members will be invited to attend the NATO Annual Awards Dinner. Attending the dinner is an excellent way to begin the Tobacco Plus Expo 2008. Thomas Briant:
Thomas Briant is an attorney who specializes in managing tobacco-related trade associations and has broad experience in grassroots lobbying efforts on tobacco legislation. He has worked on tobacco tax increases, self-service display bans, advertising prohibitions, minimum pricing laws, gray market cigarette legislation, smoking ban ordinances and many other issues facing tobacco wholesalers and retailers.
He currently serves as Executive Director of the National Association of Tobacco Outlets and the Minnesota Wholesale Marketers Association.
